Critical Mass: Staying Secure in Today’s Digital World

In case you missed it, this month’s edition of Oracle Critical Updates dropped, and it has updates pertaining to EPM.  In this case, it’s both Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Close Manager that are on the list:

In the case of Planning, the verbiage relates to the application development framework used to build the product, which has a network vulnerability:

The Financial Close Manager product also has a vulnerability, though it sounds like it’s much less likely to be exploited:

The patch set details are found in Oracle Document:  Critical Patch Update (CPU) Program Jan 2020 Patch Availability Document (PAD) (Doc ID 2602410.1)

For both products the update is to patch Fusion Middleware.  If you’re at all concerned about the updates, please let us know and we’ll be here to help keep you secure and up-to-date.
