Oracle & Google Cloud Partner to Expand Multi-Cloud Database Solutions
Oracle and Google Cloud recently announced an industry-first partner program and new capabilities for Oracle Database@Google Cloud, expanding access and flexibility for customers and partners.
Key Updates:
· Partner Program: For the first time, Oracle Database@Google Cloud will be available through Oracle and Google Cloud partners via private offers on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
· New Capabilities: Support added for Oracle Exadata X11M and Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud for U.S. Government Cloud customers.
· Service Expansion: Oracle Base Database Service will soon be available in limited preview.
· Global Rollout: 11 new regions planned over the next 12 months, including Melbourne, Sydney, Turin, Tokyo, and São Paulo.

New Partner Program
Oracle and Google Cloud are launching a program allowing qualified partners to resell Oracle Database@Google Cloud. Partners must be members of both the Google Cloud Partner Advantage and Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN). Transactions will go through the Google Cloud Marketplace and use Google Cloud credits.

Enhanced Capabilities
· Exadata X11M Support: Offers higher performance across AI, analytics, and OLTP. Customers can now isolate billing and resource usage by deploying Exadata Infrastructure in different Google Cloud projects from their virtual machine clusters.
· U.S. Government Interconnect: U.S. federal agencies can now set up secure, high-bandwidth links between Oracle Government Cloud and Google Cloud Government regions in Ashburn, VA, within minutes.
Oracle Base Database Service (Preview)
Coming soon in limited preview, the Oracle Base Database Service will support Oracle Database 19c and 23ai (Enterprise and Standard Edition 2). It features:
· Automated lifecycle management
· Built-in low-code app development
· Scalable compute and storage with pay-as-you-go pricing
Global Expansion
New planned regions include:
· Asia: Tokyo, Osaka, Mumbai, Delhi
· Australia: Sydney, Melbourne
· Europe: Turin
· North America: Montreal, Toronto, Iowa
· South America: São Paulo
To meet rising demand, Oracle and Google Cloud will also double data center capacity in London, Frankfurt, and Ashburn.
